Stocks Plunging At Open
The broader markets are plunging at the open, as the Dow is off more than 150 points, far higher than the futures had indicated.
This morning, the IEA announced a coordinated release of 60 million barrels of oil in the next few months to help drive down oil prices to stimulate world economies.
Initial jobless claims in the U.S. were also sharply higher than expected, and the 4 week moving average is going in the wrong way.
The dollar is sharply higher this morning, gaining nearly 1%.
At last check, the Dow was off 160 points, the NASDAQ was off 34 points, and the S&P 500 was off 18 points.
