Financial Sector ETF Plummets (XLF)
The ETF that tracks the S&P 500 financial sector is headed for its worst single day decline in nearly a year.
The Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE: XLF) was down nearly 4% with just 15 minutes until the end of the trading day. If the shares don't rebound before the end of the trading day, that would be the biggest single day price decline since February 13, 2009.
