Lean Hogs Lower

Monday's USDA Hog slaughter was 417,000 head versus a year ago at 377,000 head.

Lean Hog futures moved sharply lower early in the session before recovering some of the losses during choppy trading. July Hogs were trading at 74.17, down 1.57 and August hogs were trading at 72.40, down 1.42. October Hogs were trading at 63.30, down 0.97 and December Hogs were trading at 60.65, down 1.00.
