- Isle of Capri Casinos (NASDAQ: ISLE) shares moved up 31.3 percent to $22.22. The volume of Isle of Capri Casinos traded was 2574 percent higher than normal. Eldorado Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: ERI) and Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. struck a merger deal through which the former would buy the latter for $23 a share in cash or 1.638 shares.
- Sarepta Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: SRPT) shares gained 58.7 percent to $44.66. The volume of Sarepta shares traded was 740 percent higher than normal. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration confirmed in a letter it granted Sarepta with an accelerated approval for its Eteplirsen drug.
- Tech Data Corp (NASDAQ: TECD) shares rose 20.7 percent to $83.71. The volume of Tech Data shares traded was 694 percent higher than normal. Tech Data reached a deal with Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT) enabling it to buy the latter's Technology Solutions business.
